Summer Palace's Soft-Shelled Crabs & Lemon Chicken!

It was my BFF's birthday and celebrated it at her ultra-favorite restaurant. And since it was her special day, she ordered the kind AND the amount of food fit for a non-dieting person.  It wasn't dinner. It was a feast for two long-time friends whose friendship has been cemented by eating.  And more eating. And still more... 

I couldn't blame her for feasting every time we come here. Summer Palace serves really good Chinese food. Remember how I raved for their Sweet and Sour Pork? I daresay that it is the best. And how about the food we had that day? The Fried Soft-Shelled Crab and the Birthday Noodles were super (though the service was really bad that night... their servers were bumbling  amateurs but we didn't let that ruin the celebration)! Thanks for the wonderful dinner, BBF!

We asked the waiters to take this back to the kitchen.
We didn't pay for this. 
It was one the waiters numerous boo-boos!

  1. Try the soft-shelled crabs and the sweet and sour pork. I'm not a big fan of their dessert list, though. :)
