Roast Pork with Festive Rice for the Maharajah!

Let's Cook My Way @ Urdaneta Village

Everybody loves a good roast pork belly. Well, I do.

Tita Nelia Sison Silverio (of Let's Cook My Way cooking class every Tuesday at 1:00pm) calls her version of roast pork MAHARAJAH! True enough... her tweaked recipe is fit for "Great kings!"

Mahajarah is prepared a day before with a marinade of different fresh herbs and yoghurt, Tandoor Masala and lemon juice which must be rubbed well on the meat.

The perfect partner for this is the Festive Rice made of Basmati Rice seasoned with butter and mixed  with almonds, apricots, dates, raisins, cardamon, fresh mint leaves! Burp!
