I can say that I consider this as one of my comfort food. Years back, I tried preparing this Adobong Pusit in different ways but would always go back to the simple, basic recipe my yaya (I remember how she used to make me eat my Adobong Pusit with saging na Lacatan) used to cook for me. 

Anyway, good thing that Alex III thought of coming out with this item (there are actually two more) on the menu. It's actually a new offering under Alex III Specials which were launched  simultaneously in all branches just a few days ago. Can't wait to try the other two specials!

Quite a number of people I know enjoy having Cameron Rebosado with cold beer. I used to do it but I say that I still prefer my cold San Mig Light with Gambas anytime. With Cameron Rebosado? A cup (or two!) of steaming garlic rice with extra garlic! Just how Alex III does it!

I didn't think that Melon Shake would be a good combination with the Cameron Rebosado but I ordered it, just the same. Surprisingly, ordering it wasn't a bad idea at all.

It was a protein-rich lunch of (250 g) Angus Tenderloin Pepper Steak with caesar salad and fried potatoes! The (genuinely) tender steak was cooked medium-well just the way I like it. Actually, I didn't pour the gravy until I was half done. Why? I just wanted to enjoy the taste and smell of plain and good ol' beef.  

And good ol' it was.

I was told that the US Baby Back Ribs is one of the Alex III's best sellers (next to the famous Pork and Chicken Barbecues). Why am I not surprised? The half slab's grilled well leaving it moist and tender. And the flavor you actually taste down to the bones. 

Fyi. I ate the back ribs the way it should be eaten (so as to maximize enjoyment)... with my fingers.

I see this area of Alex III everytime I eat here but I don't pay much attention to it (maybe because the items here I know I can get just anywhere). Anyway, as I was leaving the restaurant, my attention was caught by this particular container of Alex III Oatmeal Thins (deliciously thin and really crunchy!). I just had to have it. I got one and brought it to the office. 

Well, as expected the office staff fell in love with it! "Sir, sana laging meron." 

Hah!

Aside from the famous barbeques, a lot of people go to Alex III for their seafood, just like me. I especially love their Baked Mussels and just recently, I added a new entry to my list of favorites, Sizzling Salmon Teppanyaki (the sweetish sauce is just too good)! I wasn't planning to eat rice with it but I wasn't able to help myself. I guess, dieting can wait.

I needed to have my last fix of Halo-Halo (topped with, not Ube Ice Cream but creamy Leche Flan!) before summer ends. And why not? I threw in an order of Pandan Jellied Tapioca with coco milk, topped with crunchy toasted pinipig! Now, this is life.
