After pigging-out on steak and Chicken Melt Manwich, we had 'home-made' Roasted Almond ice cream (love it!) for dessert! Before I forget, Mad Mark's is opening another branch in UP Ayala Town Center anytime soon!

After a satisfying meal of ramen (I highly suggest the best sellers, Ajitama Tonkotsu or Yuzu Tama Tonkotsu) the perfect dessert would be the Sea Salt Caramel and Kurogama Ice Cream!
Both flavors are creamy, just how ice cream should be. I expected the Sea Salt Caramel to be on the extra-sweet side but the sea salt tempered it.

Gourmet Gelato!

I always see the Morelli's kiosk in Rockwell but never tried it. I really don't know why. It was only last Tuesday (September 24) that I finally tasted it with my BFF (I had to stop myself from getting another one since I was scheduled to attend this Bloggers Night at Rockwell). Now, I know already what a lot of people have been saying about this rich, creamy (and sinful!) gelato.
It was one unforgettable climax.

M&S Blueberry Cheesecake Bliss!
My Tita and I were looking for good dessert when we passed by Rustan's in Glorietta and chanced upon the ice cream freezer. Seeing the Blueberry Cheesecake flavor, she immediately got one tub and proceeded to the counter. Problem: how to eat it. Solution: go to nearby CIBO.
I ordered a slice of Flourless Chocolate Almond Cake which I planned to eat ala mode with my share of the ice cream.
Yes. It was (blissfully) orgasmic.

Panghimagas sa Kabisera ng Dencio's!

Halos isang taon na rin ang lumipas ng ganapin ang Top Shot ng History Channel sa Taguig City. Matapos ang isang araw na event (Media Event) ay sa Kabisera ng Dencio's kami nag-early dinner at awarding ng mga nanalo.
Maganda ang lugar, Pinoy and dating. Ang waiters ay magalang at maasikaso. Ang pagkain? I don't remember anymore. It's moot to say it's not that forgettablee (I don't even remember anymore the last time I've been eaten at Dencio's). But I remember the desserts... especially the fried suman (well, it looked like suman!) which you eat with vanilla ice cream. That I remember!

Monster Ice-Cream Sundae from Swensen's!

I chanced upon Swensen's during my "mall walk" one Saturday. Actually, I was a few hours early for my meeting with some good friends so I took the chance to do my regular walk in Eastwood. I was attracted with the very colorful interior and the photos of ice cream were all calling me... that I just had to come in. I ordered a tall glass of iced mocha topped with cream (P125) and hot Cappuccino (P85). I resolved to tell my friends to have dessert here after dinner.
After a-not-so-great-dinner (pasta is 'malabsa') at Uncle Jeffy (better that I don't blog about the place that I might end up bitching), we trooped to Swensen's. We had a difficult time choosing eight ice cream flavors for the Earth Quake (P655). Everyone had a favorite flavor and no one was willing to give in. Kids.
Service was quick and the servers were patient. I guess they have to be. Swensen's market caters to either real kids and/or old kids (just imagine their tantrums!).
