Wicked Kitchen @ Mother Ignacia, QC
We (my Tita & I) tried the food here about a year ago. Visually, they're stunning.
Dessert number one was moist
chocolate cake with bitter mint-chocolate syrup (Lava). We felt that the mint syrup was just too much, the flavor... overwhelming. On the second bite, the Lava tasted like
cough syrup. Why not change the dessert's name to say, BISOLVON SURPRISE?
This is GREED... the best seller.
Its apple pie with a twist. The Goya gold coins... nice touch.
Asian Salad (am partial to this salad). The amount of dressing was just right and so's the
sweetness and the tartness. The chicken slices were a bit bland though. Forgiven.
The Wicked salad swam in the dressing. Way too much. We ended up eating just the Kalamata and the nuts.
Fish and Chips. The fish (Dory?) was very juicy; the breading was fried just
right; the mayo-garlic was deliciously tangy.
It looked like Mexican food but
didn't taste like Mexican food. I was looking for that tangy, spicy taste. There's none.
Wicked!
