Thanks to Serenitea, whose
Jupiter branch we've been frequenting (our top choice among so many milk tea stores... next is Happy Lemon), we always
see the Mana-ish signage on our way home to Urdaneta while sipping our large Choco Mint and iced Earl Grey (0% sweetness please!).
One time, we wanted to
have lunch at Whistlestop (we used to visit the Pasay Road and Libis branches many, many,
many moons ago!) but couldn’t find safe parking (no driver that day) so we decided to try
Mana-ish (a few meters away), finally.
Did we like the food? We loved it! Really loved the food!
Shawarma Plate (P350)
Chicken or
Doner (mixed meat roasted on a spit) Shawarma wrap
served with french fries, sauce and pickles
This Shawarma Plate can feed
three very hungry men!
Ask for more yoghurt sauce!
Eggplant Fatteh (P325)
Eggplant,
chickpeas with toasted pita, garlic, vermicelli rice, tahini sauce (pasted made of ground sesame seeds used as dip)
with ground beef and buttered cashew nuts
Generous ground beef!
Under the meat are layers of carbo!
Balanced texture. Really good.
I have this special love for eggplant
and this dish has tons of it!
Mana-ish and More!
