Havana's Adobong Kambing Explodes with Flavor!

Cafe Havana @ Greenbelt 3

I remember many moons back when my college group would go to Malate, hang out in Havana pigging-out on pizza, get high on their music and bask in the bohemian mood of Adriatiaco. I really, really, really miss that.

And a few years back, my Tita N re-introduced me to CafΓ© Havana. Everything came back to me except for one thing… the feel of Malate. Anyway, the Greenbelt 3 branch is not that bad especially THAT one dish which Tita N ordersAdobong Kambing.

First of all, there is no gamey taste. The sauce is thick (I like my Adobo sauce thick!) exploding with flavor. There is the sharp taste of garlic (and the skin which I like!), hint of whole peppercorns and of course, the flavorful goat taste that was extracted through low-heat and slow-cooking of the meat. In effect, the goat meat (chevon) is tender and moist!  Panalong-panalo!

The Adobong Kambing is perfect with this Garlic Rice!
