Shangrila, East Wing
It was my birthday. I didn't have any plans only to spend it quietly, and yes alone and perhaps have dinner with one of my BFF's in QC (I had a meeting in the afternoon in Pasig). Since I had this craving for a large Mint Chocolate, I went to this new Serentea branch (slowly becoming a favorite) at the top level of Shangrila Mall. I was mildly surprised to learn that they already serve solid food. I absentmindedly ordered the branch's best seller and forgotten about it as I immersed myself in, yes, Facebook.
The Western Chicken Chops with Onion Mustard was not bad at all. I liked the crispy (and the slightly-burned) texture and the sharp taste of the mustard and onions were commendable. One thing though... they should think of food that mix well with their milk tea preps. Honestly, hindi bagay yung Chocolate Mint ko with the onion-mustard. Hindi talaga.
