I wasn't aware that you can actually order the Pinakbet sa Bagnet minus the Bagnet. Well, that was what we requested and that was what Alex III gladly brought to our table. A special request that helped calm my craving for vegetables (eggplant, string beans, squash, bitter gourd, okra sauteed in Bagoong) that day. Tip: Pinakbet is best eaten with steaming white rice!
