    WHY IS EDUCATION SO IMPORTANT?

The first time we are introduced to formal education is in school. The school years are the grounding years of one's education. Schools are institutions that lay the foundation of a child's development. They play a key role in developing children into responsible citizens and good human beings. It's school where young talent is recognized and nurtured. On leaving school, we are all set to soar high in life, and enter the real world in pursuit of our dreams.

Education provides us with knowledge about the world. It paves the way for a good career. It helps build character. It leads to enlightenment. It lays the foundation of a stronger nation. Education makes a man complete. Kautilya, and Indian philosopher, royal adviser, and professor of economics and political science very rightly underlined the importantce of education, some 2000 years ago. He has highlighted the fact that education enriches people's understanding of themselves. He has said that education is an investment in human capital, and it can have a great impact on a nation's growth and development.

    So, Why is Education Important?

    It Gives Knowledge
    It Leads to Career Progression
    It Build Character
    It Leads to Enlightenment
    It Helps a Nation Progress

  4. AQUACULTURE

Aquaculture , also known as aquafarming, is the farming of aquatic organisms such as fish, crustacceans, molluses and aquatic plants. Aquaculture involves cultivating freshwater and saltwater populations under controlled conditions, and can be constrasted with commercial fishing, which is the harvesting of wild fish. Broadly speaking, finfish and shell fish fisheries can be conceptualized as akin to hunting and gathering while aquaculture is akin to agriculture. Mariculture refers to aquaculture practiced in marine environments and in underwater habitats.

According to the FAO, aquaculture is understood to mean the farming of aquatic organisms including fish, molluscs, crustacceans and aquatic plants. Farming implies some form of intervention in the rearing process to enhance production, such as regular stocking, feeding, protection from predators, etc. Farming also implies individual or corporate ownership of the stock being cultivated. The reported output from global aquaculture operations would supply one half of the fish and shellfish that is directly consumed by humans, however, there are issues about the reliability of the reported figures. Further, in current aquaculture practice, products from several pounds of wild fish are used to produce one pound of a piscivorous fish like salmon.

Particular kinds of aquaculture include fish farming, shrimp farming, oyster farming, mariculture, algaculture ( such as seaweed farming ), and the cultivation of ornamnental fish. Particular methods include aquaponics and intergrated multi-tropic aquaculture, both of which intergrate fish farming and plant farming.
