Boon Tong Kee at Rockwell
Yes, the chicken was unbelievably succulent. It
was tender and very flavorful (with or without the special sauce).
I always see this Boon Tong Kee everytime we
watch at Rockwell. Right beside the very American Burgoo, this restaurant can
be considered “quiet,” none of the nakakahilong
pa-noveau look ng iba.
One of my Tita Nelia’s best friends (Ms. Gayle)
treated us to lunch here and I must say that we all loved the food. Personally,
their Boiled Chicken (P475) was extra-ordinarily good and so was the Crispy Beancurd (P185) which we
had two orders of. We didn’t have enough time to try their dessert. Sayang. The screening
of “Despicable Me 2” was already starting so we had to no choice but leave. Just the same, we
really enjoyed the lunch. Thank you, Ms. Gayle!
