Eggs Benedict @ Maple!

Maple
San Antonio Plaza,
Forbes Park, Makati

It was a beautiful Sunday morning and we wanted a really heavy breakfast. Our favorite breakfast, Alexa along dela Costa was under renovation and Wildflour was, as usual, packed. When we suddenly remembered the Prime Rib Tapa of Maple in San Antonio.

They didn't have the Tapa that morning so we just settled for Eggs Benedict and their Maple Omelette. Not bad. Not bad at all.

Very Good Prime Rib Tapa & Huevos Rancheros for Breakfast!

Maple @ San Antonio Plaza

It was usual for Tita Nelia and I to have good breakfast. We have a list of places we normally go to: Pancake House, Bizu, Alexia, Flapjacks, Brasserie Boheme (though we stopped going there). Then, I remembered my BFF recommending this place in Shangrila Mall (which also have a branch in Antonio Plaza in Makati). So, that morning, we looked for Maple (a blogger/friend also has a positive review of the restaurant).

Yes, we had a good morning meal. Sobra.

Prime Rib Tapa P520
A traditional Filipino breakfast favorite taken to new heights. A marinated prime rib served with garlic rice, two eggs prepared the way you like.

Huevos Rancheros P340
A classic Mexican breakfast made with tortillas, refried beans, grilled chicken and a sunny-side up egg, topped with cheese and ranchero sauce.
