Wildflour Cafe + Bakery @ The Fort
Wildflour is the latest IN thing now, they say.
That's why Tita N rushed to The Fort, one morning, hoping to taste what they say, to be the in thing now (the café is known for the breakfast menu). Upon getting there, the place was crowded and she was placed on the long waiting list. She decided to leave. It was THAT popular.
A few days after, we came for an early dinner and thankfully, only around four tables were occupied. We took our table and ordered. We expected to be "surprised." As for the cafe's look, we give it high points. It was effortlessly chic.
How about food. Were we disappointed? Kinda. Let me just say, that we were not "surprised." But I liked the Tarte Flambes (loved it even). The crust was deliciously thin (on the other hand, the salad was too ordinary and the sandwich too spicy for me), and the bacon and gruyere cheese, perfect.
Good enough for me.
Green Salad (P310)

Crispy Potatoes (P160)
sour cream, bacon, chives
Tarte Flambes (P425)
