Usapang Fried Chicken #15: ARMY NAVY!

Wasn't there an Army Navy restaurant in Malate 20 years ago? Correct me if I'm wrong but I do remember eating in an Army Navy restaurant years back (but of different concept). Food then was not that extra-ordinary but it's one of those places that you go "to see and be seen." I dunno. Maybe I'm wrong. Who cares, right? 

Anyway, I didn't plan to eat here. I just wanted to kill time until the Thai Message place near the place which opens at noon. So, I entered the store and was approached by a (really!) nasty staff. I wasn't in the mood for World War III (I had a damn good morning!) so I just let them bitch themselves blue.

Since I'm not familiar with their menu, I just ordered for their Fearless Fried Chicken. The name might be a bit weird and uncreative but the chicken was really good. It has thin breading and was deliciously crunchy. The gravy has these swimming little cracked peppers which I also liked very much.

I'm going back and together with the chicken, order the "famous" Burritos, soon.
